KIF26A Antibody (YY-N) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KIF26A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KIF26A antibody (YY-N) is available as a non-conjugated format. KIF26A, or kinesin family member 26A, is a vital 1,882 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in intracellular transport, particularly in the movement of organelles and vesicles along microtubules. KIF26A contains a kinesin-motor domain at its N-terminus, which is essential for ATP-dependent motility, allowing traversal along microtubules effectively. Proper functioning of KIF26A is crucial for various cellular processes, including cell division and membrane trafficking, as KIF26A ensures accurate distribution of cellular components. Disruptions in KIF26A function can lead to significant cellular dysfunction, highlighting KIF26A′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating essential transport mechanisms within the cell.
