KHNYN Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KHNYN protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KHNYN (E-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KHNYN, also known as KH and NYN domain-containing protein or KIAA0323, is a 678 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in RNA binding and regulation of gene expression. KHNYN′s ability to interact with RNA is vital for various cellular functions, including mRNA splicing and stability, which are essential for maintaining proper cellular function and response to environmental changes. Additionally, KHNYN undergoes significant post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation at specific serine and threonine residues, which can influence activity and interactions with other proteins. The gene encoding KHNYN is located on human chromosome 14, a region that harbors several important genes, including those associated with Alzheimer′s disease and α1-antitrypsin deficiency, highlighting the potential implications of KHNYN in various health conditions.
