JYL-1511 has been shown to act as a partial agonist for the VR1 (transient receptor potential vanilloid-1; TRPV1) channel. TRPV1 is a Capsaicin (sc-3577) receptor that behaves as a non-selective cation channel that is mainly found in the sensory neurons, and specifically detects painful stimuli, low pH and heat. Research indicates that the presence of Cyclosporin A (sc-3503) increase the efficiency of JYL-1511.
