JRKL Antibody (73-Q) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects JRKL in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-JRKL antibody (73-Q) recognizes JRKL, a 442 amino acid protein predominantly localized in the nucleus, suggesting a potential role in nuclear processes. JRKL expression is notably high across various tissues, although less prevalent in the liver, lung, and peripheral blood leukocytes. This widespread expression pattern may indicate involvement in critical biological functions, including those related to neuronal activity and development. JRKL shares 35% homology with the mouse JRK protein, which has been implicated in the pathogenesis of epilepsy when inactivated, highlighting JRKL′s potential significance in neurological disorders. The presence of a DDE domain and an HTH CENPB-type DNA-binding domain in JRKL suggests a possible role in DNA binding, which could be crucial for gene regulation or chromatin remodeling. Anti-JRKL antibody (73-Q) effectively detects JRKL across multiple species and applications, making this reagent an invaluable tool for researchers studying molecular mechanisms underlying epilepsy and related conditions.
