SEE ALSO...

JAZF1 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects JAZF1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-JAZF1 antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. JAZF1, also known as juxtaposed with another zinc finger protein 1, TIP27 (TAK1-interacting protein 27), or ZNF802 (zinc finger protein 802), is a 243 amino acid protein primarily localized in the nucleus and features three C2H2-type zinc finger domains. This structural characteristic allows JAZF1 to interact with specific DNA sequences and other proteins, playing a significant role in transcriptional regulation. JAZF1 functions as a transcriptional repressor, particularly in its interaction with nuclear orphan receptor TR4, which is essential for modulating gene expression involved in various cellular processes. Chromosomal aberrations in the gene encoding JAZF1 have been implicated in the development of endometrial stromal tumors, highlighting JAZF1′s potential role in carcinogenesis. The JAZF1 gene is located on human chromosome 7, a region containing over 1,000 genes and associated with several genetic disorders, including Osteogenesis imperfecta and Williams-Beuren syndrome, underscoring JAZF1′s importance in both normal physiology and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-376503: JAZF1 (C-11) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376503 conjugates.
