    SEE ALSO...

ITI-H4 Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects ITI-H4 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ITI-H4 is a unique member of the inter-α-trypsin inhibitor (ITI) family, characterized by its single-chain structure, which distinguishes ITI-H4 from other multi-polypeptide members of the family. This structural uniqueness is significant as ITI-H4 may confer distinct functional properties, potentially influencing its role in various physiological processes. The gene encoding human ITI-H4 is located on chromosome 3p21.1, and ITI-H4 expression patterns differ markedly from those of rat ITI-H4, suggesting species-specific functions that are crucial for understanding biological roles in humans. The ITI family, including ITI-H4, plays a vital role in regulating protease activity and stabilizing the pericellular matrix through interactions with hyaluronic acid, which is essential for maintaining tissue integrity and modulating inflammatory responses. Anti-ITI-H4 antibody (A-12) enables researchers to explore the intricate functions of ITI-H4 and its implications in health and disease.
