ISGF-3γ p48 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ISGF-3 gamma p48 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ISGF-3γ p48 antibody (H-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ISGF-3 gamma p48 protein plays a crucial role in interferon signaling pathway, functioning as a transcription factor that regulates expression of interferon-stimulated genes. ISGF-3 gamma p48 is essential for immune response, helping mediate effects of interferons, which are critical for antiviral defense and immune regulation. p48 subunit forms a complex with Stat1 and Stat2, collectively known as ISGF-3, which translocates to nucleus upon activation and binds to specific DNA elements to initiate transcription. Understanding ISGF-3 gamma p48 function is vital for elucidating mechanisms of immune response and developing therapeutic strategies for diseases where interferon signaling is disrupted.

I am using ISGF-3γ p48 (H-10): sc-365893 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for WB!I am using this antibody to do WB and check endogenous IRF9 level before and after IFNalpha and IFNgamma treatment in Huh7.5, 2fTGH, A549 and HeLa cells. Nice clear one band. I am using SnapID system and 1:500 in 2ml 1%BSA for 30min. 30ug protein per lane. Semi-dry transfer. I did one trial for ChIP but the results were not good (1ug of ab per chromatin from 3x10^6 cells)
