IRF-4 Antibody (3E4) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects IRF-4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-IRF-4 antibody (3E4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Interferon regulatory factor-4 (IRF-4) is a crucial nuclear protein primarily found in lymphoid cells, where IRF-4 functions as a transcriptional activator. IRF-4 plays a significant role in the immune response by binding to the interferon-stimulated response element (ISRE) of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I promoter, thereby regulating the expression of genes involved in immune signaling. IRF-4 is essential for the differentiation and function of various immune cell types, including T cells and B cells, making IRF-4 a vital component in the adaptive immune system. IRF-4 also interacts with other proteins such as PU.1, which is essential for the development of immune cells, highlighting IRF-4′s role in complex signaling pathways that govern immune responses.

How can IRF-4 (3E4): sc-130921 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Trav11
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-130921 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-130921 FITC).
