SEE ALSO...

Integrin β1 Antibody (K-20) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a light chain antibody that detects Integrin β1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-Integrin β1 antibody (K-20) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, providing versatility for various experimental needs. Integrin β1 is a crucial component of the integrin family, which consists of heterodimers formed by noncovalently associated transmembrane α and β subunits. The presence of 16 α and 8 β subunits allows for the formation of over 20 distinct integrin receptors, each playing a vital role in cell adhesion and communication. Notably, Integrin β1 interacts with ligands such as fibronectin, collagen, and vitronectin, which are essential components of the extracellular matrix. This interaction facilitates cell adhesion and triggers intracellular signaling pathways that influence various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, migration, and apoptosis. Integrin β1′s ability to bind to soluble ligands and counterreceptors on adjacent cells, such as intracellular adhesion molecules (ICAMs), further underscores its importance in cellular aggregation and tissue integrity. Anti-Integrin β1 antibody (K-20) enables researchers to explore the multifaceted roles of Integrin β1 in cellular dynamics and its implications in health and disease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works greatWe had been used b1 antibodies from another source before but noticed the results are not consistent, varying with batches of antibodies. This antibody works great on human kidney tissues. The IHC results look identical as another b1 antibody (P5D2): sc-13590.
