IL-3Rα Antibody (S-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the IL-3R alpha protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). IL-3Rα monoclonal antibody (S-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The IL-3R alpha protein plays a crucial role in hematopoiesis, as IL-3R alpha is part of the interleukin-3 receptor complex that mediates the effects of IL-3, a cytokine essential for the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. The IL-3 receptor is composed of an α subunit, which binds the ligand with low affinity, and a β subunit that is necessary for high-affinity binding and signal transduction.
