IL-3Rα Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects IL-3Rα of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IL-3Rα (C-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Interleukin-3 receptor alpha (IL-3Rα) plays a crucial role in hematopoiesis by mediating interleukin-3 effects, a cytokine that promotes hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation and differentiation. Located on cell surfaces, IL-3Rα forms a heterodimer with the common beta subunit (IL-3Rβ), essential for high-affinity IL-3 binding. IL-3 and IL-3Rα interaction initiates intracellular signaling pathways, including JAK2 kinase activation, leading to Stat5a and Stat5b transcription factor phosphorylation. IL-3Rα signaling supports blood cell lineage survival and proliferation, making IL-3Rα essential for immune response and hematological disorders.
