SEE ALSO...

IKKγ Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody specifically designed to detect IKKγ, also known as NEMO (NF-κB Essential Modulator), across multiple species including mouse, rat, and human. IKKγ monoclonal antibody (B-3) targets the full-length human IKKγ epitope spanning amino acids 1-419, ensuring comprehensive recognition and reliable performance in various applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IKKγ plays a pivotal role in the NF-κB signaling pathway, acting as an essential regulatory subunit of the IKK complex, which is crucial for the phosphorylation and degradation of IκB proteins. This process allows the transcription factor NF-κB to translocate to the nucleus and activate genes involved in immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival, making IKKγ a critical target for studying these fundamental biological mechanisms. The functionality of IKKγ is vital for understanding how cells respond to proinflammatory cytokines and stress signals, highlighting its importance in various physiological and pathological contexts. IKKγ monoclonal antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing researchers with versatile options to suit their specific experimental needs. IKKγ monoclonal antibody (B-3) is recommended for investigating the intricate details of the NF-κB pathway and its implications in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammation.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with IKKy Antibody (B-3): sc-8032?

Asked by: Trav11
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
