IGSF1 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IGSF1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-IGSF1 antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IGSF1, also known as immunoglobulin superfamily member 1, plays a crucial role in inhibin signaling as a coreceptor, although IGSF1 does not function as a high-affinity inhibin receptor independently. IGSF1 is highly glycolylated and is essential for mediating specific effects of inhibin B on activin-stimulated transcription, which is vital for various physiological processes, including reproductive functions and cellular signaling pathways. IGSF1 has been shown to interact with several members of the activin receptor family and potentially some members of the bone morphogenetic protein receptor group, highlighting IGSF1′s importance in cellular communication and signaling. IGSF1 is predominantly expressed in the pancreas, testis, and fetal liver, with lower levels found in the heart, prostate, and small intestine, while very low expression is noted in the brain, muscle, thymus, ovary, colon, fetal lung, and fetal kidney. Notably, isoform 3 of IGSF1 is believed to be secreted and has been detected in the pituitary gland, indicating IGSF1′s diverse roles in different tissues.
