IgG Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IgG of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IgG Antibody (D-1) is available in non-conjugated form and various conjugates, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® options. IgG, the most abundant immunoglobulin in bloodstream and extracellular fluid, plays a crucial role in immune response, particularly during secondary immune responses. IgG consists of two heavy (γ) chains and two light (κ or λ) chains, forming two distinct regions: the Fab (antigen-binding) fragment with two antigen-binding sites, and the Fc (constant) fragment.
