    SEE ALSO...

Ig λ light chain Antibody (ICO106) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human Ig lambda light chain protein by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-Ig lambda light chain antibody (ICO106) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Ig lambda light chain pairs with heavy chains to form functional antibodies that recognize and neutralize pathogens. Ig lambda light chain is primarily located in B cell cytoplasm, where synthesis and assembly with heavy chains create immunoglobulin molecules. Proper Ig lambda light chain localization ensures correct light and heavy chain combination to form complete immunoglobulin structure. Assembly occurs in the endoplasmic reticulum, where post-translational modifications like glycosylation influence antibody stability and functionality. Understanding Ig lambda light chain synthesis and cellular localization helps elucidate immune response mechanisms and develop therapeutic strategies for immune-related diseases.

Hi, Do you have any anti-human LC Abs those have specificity for each of the V kappa or V lambda subgroups? If you have something conjugated with PE, Alexa647, or BV-421 would be nice.

    Asked by: JOON
Thank you for your question. All the light chain antibodies we offer are found here, but they have not been tested for specificity for the V kappa and lambda subgroups: https://www.scbt.com/browse/antibodies-Primary-Antibodies-and-ImmunoCruz-sup-reg-sup-Conjugates-lymphocyte-signaling-antibodies-ig-lambda-light-chain-Antibodies/_/N-1us0e1x We do offer sc-59267 conjugated to PE and AF647.

How can Ig λ light chain (ICO106): sc-59267 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-59267 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-59267 FITC).
