Ig κ chain Antibody (MH19-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 light chain antibody that detects Ig κ chain in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Ig κ chain plays a crucial role in immune response by forming part of immunoglobulin structure, which is essential for recognition and binding of antigens. Anti-Ig κ chain antibody (MH19-1) targets proteins primarily located in B cell cytoplasm, where Ig κ chain is synthesized and assembled with heavy chains to form functional antibodies. Ig κ chain presence is vital for proper folding and stability of immunoglobulin molecules, ensuring effective antigen binding and subsequent immune activation.
