ICAM-3 Antibody (CG106) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ICAM-3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). ICAM-3 (CG106) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ICAM-3, also known as CD50 and ICAM-R, is a type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in immune responses by facilitating cell adhesion and communication. ICAM-3 is primarily located on the surface of leukocytes, where ICAM-3 acts as a counter-receptor for the leukocyte integrin αLβ2, thereby promoting T cell activation and the recruitment of polymorphonuclear leukocytes to sites of inflammation. ICAM-3′s location in the immune system is essential for proper immune surveillance and response during infections and inflammatory processes. Additionally, RANTES induces ICAM-3 expression, a chemokine that activates T lymphocytes, further highlighting ICAM-3′s role in immune regulation. ICAM-3 also interacts with Moesin through its cytoplasmic domain, linking ICAM-3 to the cytoskeleton and influencing cellular morphology during migration.
