ICAM-3 Antibody (B-R1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ICAM-3 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). ICAM-3, also known as CD50 and ICAM-R, is a type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in immune responses by facilitating cell-cell interactions, particularly during T cell activation and migration. ICAM-3 is primarily located on the surface of leukocytes, where anti-ICAM-3 antibody (B-R1) recognizes its role as a counter-receptor for the leukocyte integrin αL/β2, enhancing the adhesion and activation of T cells and polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
