ICAM-2 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgA kappa light chain antibody that detects ICAM-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). ICAM-2 Antibody (F-5) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including phycoerythrin (PE) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). ICAM-2, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, plays a crucial role in mediating leukocyte adhesion and migration, essential for immune response and inflammation. ICAM-2 is primarily located on endothelial cells and leukocytes, facilitating interaction between lymphocytes and endothelial cells during immune surveillance and inflammatory responses. Proper functioning of ICAM-2 maintains vascular integrity and regulates immune cell trafficking, making ICAM-2 significant in normal physiological processes and pathological conditions like autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammation. ICAM-2 interacts with lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), enhancing leukocyte adhesion to endothelium, critical for immune cell recruitment to injury or infection sites. anti-ICAM-2 antibody (F-5) versatility in various applications helps researchers explore ICAM-2′s role in diverse biological contexts, contributing to deeper understanding of immune mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.

How can ICAM-2 (F-5): sc-9987 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Trav11
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-9987 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-9987 FITC).
