HYAL1 Antibody (1D10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HYAL1 protein of mouse, rat, human, and hamster origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. HYAL1 (1D10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HYAL1, a member of the hyaluronidase family, plays a critical role in the degradation of hyaluronic acid (HA), a vital component of the extracellular matrix that maintains tissue hydration, supports cell proliferation, and facilitates differentiation and metastasis. HYAL1 is expressed in various tissues, particularly in serum, but is absent in the brain, highlighting specific functional roles in other biological contexts. HYAL1′s enzymatic activity in breaking down HA into smaller fragments is significant as these fragments can stimulate angiogenesis, a process essential for tumor growth and progression. HYAL1 expression in cancer cells suggests involvement in the regulation of tumor dynamics, making HYAL1 a potential target for therapeutic interventions. With diverse applications and critical biological relevance, anti-HYAL1 antibody (1D10) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying hyaluronidases in health and disease.

Hi, I am concerning on the reactivity of this HYAL1 antibody with bovine hyaluronidases, especcially in bovine serum. Do you have information about that?

Asked by: kenny09
Thank you for your question. This antibody has not yet been tested in bovine samples and so that is not a recommended species at this time. We are still gathering data to show on our website. Check back for updates!

What is the recommended secondary for this antibody?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. We recommend using one our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins as a secondary detection reagent. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
