SEE ALSO...

HSPA6 Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HSPA6 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HSPA6 (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HSPA6, also known as heat shock 70kDa protein 6 or HSP70B, plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses by facilitating proper protein folding and preventing aggregation of misfolded proteins, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis, especially under stress conditions such as heat shock or oxidative stress. This 643 amino acid protein is localized primarily in the cytosol and is involved in the transport of nascent polypeptide chains across cellular membranes, as well as in the assembly of multi-protein complexes. HSPA6 is encoded on human chromosome 1, a region spanning 260 million base pairs and containing over 3,000 genes, with significant associations to various diseases, including familial adenomatous polyposis, Parkinson′s disease, and several cancers. Aberrations in chromosome 1 have been implicated in the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma and malignant melanoma, highlighting HSPA6′s importance in both normal cellular function and disease states.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good antibodyThe antibody works very well in IF just when this protein is over expressed. In MA104 the expression is very low and the protein is hard to detect with the Ab. Works very well when the protein is over expressed.
