SEE ALSO...

HPV18 E6 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HPV18 E6 protein by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HPV18 E6 antibody (G-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HPV18 E6 plays a critical role in cervical cancer pathogenesis by promoting degradation of tumor suppressor protein p53, which regulates cell cycle and prevents tumor formation. Through p53 degradation, HPV18 E6 enables uncontrolled cell proliferation and contributes to oncogenic potential of high-risk human papillomaviruses. Approximately 90% of cervical cancers harbor high-risk HPV DNA, with HPV16 and HPV18 being most prevalent types. HPV18 E6′s interaction with p53 highlights its significance in cervical cancer development, making HPV18 E6 monoclonal antibody (G-7) valuable for studying HPV-related malignancies and molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with HPV18 E6 (G-7): sc-365089?

Asked by: jerojero
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
