HoxD3 Antibody (4AY) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HoxD3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-HoxD3 antibody (4AY) is available as a non-conjugated format. HoxD3, a member of the homeobox gene family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during embryonic development, particularly in establishing the anterior-posterior body axis. HoxD3′s ability to bind DNA as a transcription factor is significantly enhanced through dimerization with PBX homeoproteins, which increases affinity for target genes. This interaction is vital for proper regulation of genes involved in developmental processes. HoxD3 is essential for normal development and plays a pivotal role in wound healing by promoting angiogenesis and collagen synthesis, making HoxD3 a potential therapeutic target for improving healing in diabetic patients with chronic wounds.
