SEE ALSO...

HoxD11 Antibody (R-26) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HoxD11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HoxD11 antibody (R-26) is available as the non-conjugated form. HoxD11, also known as HOX4 or HOX4F, is a crucial transcription factor that plays a significant role in the regulation of gene expression during embryonic development and cellular differentiation. Specifically, HoxD11 is involved in axial patterning, which is essential for the proper formation of body structures along the anterior-posterior axis. HoxD11 contains a homeobox DNA-binding domain and is localized in the nucleus, where HoxD11 interacts with various cofactors to regulate downstream target genes. The precise control of these genes is vital for establishing positional identities in developing tissues, and any defects in HoxD11 can lead to severe limb and genital abnormalities, highlighting HoxD11′s importance in forelimb morphogenesis. Using anti-HoxD11 antibody (R-26) in research can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying developmental processes and the potential implications of HoxD11 dysregulation in congenital disorders.

I am using HoxD11 (R-26): sc-81969 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
