HoxC11 Antibody (HOX5J232) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects HoxC11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). HoxC11 (HOX5J232) antibody is available as the non-conjugated anti-HoxC11 antibody. HoxC11, also known as HOX3H, is a crucial transcription factor belonging to the Abd-B homeobox family, which is essential for regulating gene expression during embryonic development. HoxC11 is primarily located in the nucleus, where HoxC11 plays a significant role in the spatial and temporal differentiation of cells by binding to specific DNA sequences. HoxC11 is highly expressed in fetal tissues, particularly in the developing intestine, indicating HoxC11′s vital role in early intestinal development. Anti-HoxC11 antibody (HOX5J232) recognizes HoxC11′s ability to bind to the promoter element of lactase-phlorizin hydrolase (LCT), which enhances LCT transcription, critical for proper nutrient absorption in the intestine. HoxC11 activates the transcription of the S-100 β chain, further underscoring HoxC11′s importance in cellular processes.
