SEE ALSO...

Hop Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Hop protein, also called STI1 and STIP1, of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Hop antibody (E-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Hop protein, encoded by the Hop gene, plays a crucial role in cardiac development through regulation of gene expression during cardiogenesis. Specifically, Hop interacts with serum response factor (SRF), a key transcription factor that governs the balance between cardiomyocyte proliferation and differentiation. By modulating SRF activity, Hop ensures that processes of cell growth and maturation are appropriately coordinated, which is vital for proper heart formation and function. Disruptions in Hop function can lead to developmental abnormalities and contribute to cardiovascular diseases.
