hnRNP E2 Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects hnRNP E2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-hnRNP E2 antibody (B-7) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. hnRNP E2, a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein family, plays a crucial role in mRNA metabolism, including transcription, pre-mRNA processing, and mature mRNA transport to the cytoplasm for translation. hnRNP E2 is primarily located in the nucleus, where hnRNP E2 associates with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) produced by RNA polymerase II, and is essential for forming spliceosomal complexes that facilitate mRNA splicing. hnRNP E2 shuttles between the nucleus and cytoplasm, where hnRNP E2 stabilizes mRNA, thereby enhancing the translation of viral mRNAs, such as those from poliovirus. hnRNP E2′s interaction with other proteins, including hnRNP M, which is involved in pre-mRNA splicing and stress-induced splicing regulation, underscores hnRNP E2′s importance in maintaining cellular RNA homeostasis. hnRNP E2′s ability to modulate mRNA stability and translation makes hnRNP E2 a significant target for studies related to gene expression regulation and viral pathogenesis.
