hnRNP A2/B1 Antibody (EF-67) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP A2/B1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Anti-hnRNP A2/B1 antibody (EF-67) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1 plays a crucial role in mRNA metabolism, particularly in pre-mRNA processing and splicing regulation. hnRNP A2/B1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where interactions with pre-mRNA and splicing factors influence splice site selection, ensuring proper maturation of mRNA transcripts. Nuclear-cytoplasmic shuttling of hnRNP A2/B1 allows dynamic regulation of gene expression in response to cellular signals. The A/B subfamily of hnRNPs, including hnRNP A2/B1, is essential for spliceosomal complex formation, making these proteins vital for accurate pre-mRNA processing. Understanding hnRNP A2/B1 function and localization helps elucidate gene regulation mechanisms and potential implications in cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
