    SEE ALSO...

HN1 Antibody (3G6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HN1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HN1 antibody (3G6) is available as the non-conjugated format. Hematological and neurological expressed 1 protein (HN1), also known as androgen-regulated protein 2 (ARM2), is a 154 amino acid member of the HN1 family, which plays a significant role in embryo development, particularly in hemopoietic and neurological systems formation. HN1 localizes primarily in the nucleus and expresses across various fetal and adult tissues, with highest expression levels in brain, colon, prostate, testis, thymus, skeletal muscle, peripheral blood cells, and placenta. HN1′s nuclear localization suggests potential regulatory functions in gene expression and cellular signaling pathways, crucial for proper cellular function and development. HN1 has been linked to processed pseudogenes in mouse, rat, and human genomes, indicating that HN1 and pseudogenes may represent a novel gene family with evolutionary significance. Three isoforms of HN1 exist due to alternative splicing events, contributing to diverse functional roles in various biological contexts.
