HIRIP3 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects HIRIP3 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HIRIP3 antibody (E-9) is available in non-conjugated form. HIRIP3 (HIRA interacting protein 3) encodes a 556 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in chromatin function and histone metabolism by directly interacting with HIRA histone chaperone, while showing weaker interactions with core histones, specifically Histone H2B and Histone H3. This interaction is vital for proper assembly and disassembly of nucleosomes, essential for DNA replication and repair processes. HIRIP3 is a heavily phosphorylated nuclear protein, with phosphorylation mediated by casein kinase II, and remains present throughout the cell cycle, indicating importance in cellular regulation. A highly conserved region at HIRIP3′s C-terminus, approximately 60 amino acids in length, contains residues that are invariantly charged, polar, and hydrophobic, suggesting a significant evolutionary role. Two isoforms of HIRIP3 exist due to alternative splicing, with isoform 1 predominantly expressed in skeletal muscles and isoform 2 found in liver and heart. Human homologs of HIRA are implicated in DiGeorge syndrome and related developmental disorders, highlighting HIRIP3′s relevance in both normal physiology and disease contexts.
