    SEE ALSO...

HiNF-P Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HiNF-P of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HiNF-P (C-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HiNF-P plays a critical role as a transcription factor essential for the E2F-independent activation of the Histone H4 multigene family, which is vital for proper cell cycle regulation and gene expression during cell division. Located primarily in the nucleus, HiNF-P interacts with conserved H4 cell cycle regulatory sequences, facilitating the transcription of Histone H4 genes. This interaction ensures that histone proteins are synthesized in coordination with DNA replication, thereby maintaining chromatin structure and function. Notably, reduction of HiNF-P levels through antisense inhibition leads to decreased expression of endogenous Histone H4, highlighting HiNF-P′s importance in cell cycle progression. Research has shown that HiNF-P acts as a key link in a signaling pathway initiated by growth factor-dependent induction of cyclin E/cyclin-dependent kinase 2 activity, ultimately leading to the activation of Histone H4 genes at the G1/S phase transition.
