HGFα Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to detect the alpha subunit of hepatocyte growth factor (HGFα), also known as scatter factor, hematopoietin A, or mammary growth factor. HGFα is a critical component of the HGF protein, which plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes such as growth, motility, and morphogenesis by binding to its primary receptor, c-Met. This interaction is essential for normal physiological functions including liver regeneration, wound healing, and embryonic development.
