HEATR1 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HEATR1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HEATR1 (B-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HEATR1 protein, also known as BAP28, is a crucial 2,144 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in the nucleolar processing of pre-18S ribosomal RNA, which is essential for ribosome biogenesis and protein synthesis in cells. Proper functioning of HEATR1 is vital, as disruptions in ribosomal RNA processing can lead to cellular dysfunctions and are implicated in several diseases, including cancer. The gene encoding HEATR1 is located on human chromosome 1, a region that spans 260 million base pairs and contains over 3,000 genes, many of which are associated with various genetic disorders and cancers. Chromosome 1 is particularly notable for housing genes linked to conditions such as familial adenomatous polyposis, Stickler syndrome, and Parkinson′s disease, highlighting the importance of HEATR1 in the broader context of human health and disease.
