    SEE ALSO...

HDHD3 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HDHD3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HDHD3 (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HDHD3, also known as haloacid dehalogenase-like hydrolase domain containing 3, consists of 251 amino acids and is a member of the HAD-like hydrolase superfamily, which is characterized by unique structural features that differentiate HDHD3 from the α/β hydrolase family. HDHD3 plays a crucial role in the hydrolysis of haloacids, which is important for various metabolic processes, including the detoxification of halogenated compounds. The HDHD3 gene is located on human chromosome 9q32, a region that comprises about 4% of the human genome and is involved in critical biological functions, including gender determination. Notably, deletions in this chromosomal region can lead to sex reversal phenotypes, highlighting HDHD3′s importance in developmental biology.
