    SEE ALSO...

HAPLN3 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HAPLN3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HAPLN3 Antibody (F-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HAPLN3, or Hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 3, is a 360 amino acid protein encoded by the human gene HAPLN3 and is a member of the HAPLN family, characterized by one immunoglobulin-like V-type domain and two Link domains. HAPLN3 plays a crucial role in mediating the binding of hyaluronic acid-containing complexes, which is essential for the formation of the hyaluronan-associated matrix in the central nervous system (CNS). This matrix is vital for neuronal conduction and structural stabilization, highlighting HAPLN3′s importance in maintaining the integrity of neural tissues. HAPLN3 is implicated in the formation of extracellular matrices that contribute to perineuronal nets, which are essential for neuronal function and protection. HAPLN3 expression is widespread, with the highest levels found in the spleen and placenta, indicating a significant role in various biological processes.
