HAH1 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HAH1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HAH1 antibody (D-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HAH1, also known as ATOX1, plays a crucial role in cellular copper transport and homeostasis, functioning as a copper chaperone that delivers copper ions to specific P-type ATPases located in the Golgi apparatus, such as ATP7A and ATP7B in humans. This process is vital for maintaining copper balance within cells, as copper is an essential trace element involved in numerous biological processes, including enzymatic reactions and antioxidant defense. HAH1′s ability to bind and transfer copper to ATP7B, particularly through interaction with domains 2 and 4, underscores HAH1′s importance in cellular antioxidant defense mechanisms. The efficient delivery of copper by HAH1 is essential for proper functioning of copper-dependent enzymes, and any disruption in this process can lead to copper-related disorders, highlighting HAH1′s significance in maintaining cellular health and function.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from work for WBI detected a band around 6kDa in MEFs and liver samples but not in human cell lines (Huh1, HepG2 and HeLa), although I have not checked whether it is specific band or not.
