Datasheets
  • HA-Tag Antibody (4C12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ, cited in 6 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against wall antigens from the mycelial form of a common C. albicans serotype A laboratory strain
  • recommended for detection of proteins containing the HA tag by WB, IP and IF
  • See HA-Tag (F-7): sc-7392 for HA-Tag antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 and 790.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for HA-Tag Antibody (4C12) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with HA-Tag Antibody (4C12) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

HA-Tag Antibody (4C12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed for detecting HA-tagged fusion proteins, which are widely used in molecular biology to facilitate protein purification, localization, and analysis. The HA-tag consists of an 11 amino acid sequence derived from the hemagglutinin protein of the influenza virus, allowing for easy identification of tagged proteins in various expression systems. Post-translational modifications (PTMs) of the HA-tagged protein, such as phosphorylation, ubiquitination, or glycosylation, can significantly impact its activity, stability, localization, and interactions. These modifications are crucial for the functional regulation of proteins within the cell. For example, phosphorylation may alter a protein′s activity or interaction with other proteins, while ubiquitination can signal protein degradation. Detecting these modifications is essential for understanding the dynamic behavior of proteins in cellular processes, making HA-Tag (4C12) monoclonal antibody a valuable tool for studies involving protein expression and modification. HA-Tag (4C12) antibody is suitable for various applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF), and is available in multiple conjugated forms for enhanced versatility in research.

Does anyone use goat-anti-mouse IgG-HRP conjugate(sc-2005), and successfully find a band? (I used 1:200 dilution of primary Ab and 1:5000 of secondary Ab.)

Asked by: FYT0429
Thank you for your question. We have successfully used this mouse monoclonal IgG1 primary antibody, HA-probe (4C12): sc-57594, together with goat anti-mouse IgG-HRP conjugated secondary antibody (sc-2005). We would expect a signal using the same dilutions that you have tested. Please contact our Technical Service Department and we would be happy to assist you in troubleshooting these antibodies. Please call our Asian Support office toll-free at 800-820-8626, email asia@scbio.cn, or contact us by live chat. We would also recommend trying our recombinant mouse IgGκ binding protein alternatives to this conventional secondary anti-mouse IgG reagents. The product number is m-IgGκ BP-HRP: sc-516102.
