SEE ALSO...

H2-Kd Antibody (SF1-1.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects H2-Kd protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). H2-Kd (SF1-1.1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. H2-Kd protein plays a crucial role in the immune response as a member of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, which are essential for presenting endogenous peptides to cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs). Located on the surface of cells, H2-Kd binds to peptides derived from intracellular proteins, allowing the immune system to monitor cellular health and detect infections or malignancies. The ability of H2-Kd to present a diverse array of peptides is vital for the adaptive immune response, as this enables recognition of a wide range of pathogens. Additionally, H2-Kd interaction with T cell receptors is critical for CTL activation, which leads to elimination of infected or cancerous cells. Understanding H2-Kd function and importance in immune surveillance highlights potential applications in immunotherapy and vaccine development.

Are there any issues with using sc-53852: H2-Kd (SF1-1.1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-53852 conjugates.
