GSDML Antibody (3D8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects GSDML protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GSDML antibody (3D8) is available as a non-conjugated format. GSDML, also known as gasdermin-like, GSDMB, PP4052, or PRO2521, is a member of the gasdermin-domain containing (GSDMDC) family of proteins, which play crucial roles in various cellular processes such as cell-cycle regulation, extracellular matrix production, differentiation, and apoptosis. GSDML is involved in regulating inflammatory responses and potentially influences cancer progression, showing expression in both cancerous and non-cancerous tissues. GSDML primarily localizes in the cytoplasm and secretory vesicles, influencing cellular signaling pathways. GSDML gene emerged from a duplication event of the GSDM1 gene, which encodes gasdermin, with multiple isoforms contributing to diverse functional roles in health and disease.
