SEE ALSO...

Group X sPLA2 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects group X sPLA2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Group X sPLA2 (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Group X sPLA2 plays a crucial role in regulating phospholipid metabolism and eicosanoid biosynthesis, which are essential processes in cell signaling and inflammation. Group X sPLA2 is actively secreted and encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16p13.1-p12, with mRNA expression detected in various tissues such as lung, thymus, and spleen. Immunohistochemical analysis has shown that group X sPLA2 is expressed in splenic macrophages, highlighting group X sPLA2′s importance in immune responses. Group X sPLA2′s ability to catalyze fatty acid release from phospholipids underscores group X sPLA2′s significance in maintaining cellular membrane integrity and function, making group X sPLA2 a valuable target for research in both basic and applied sciences.
