    Group IVD sPLA2 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects group IVD sPLA2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-group IVD sPLA2 antibody (H-6) is available as the non-conjugated format. Group IVD sPLA2, also known as phospholipase A2 group IVD or cPLA2-delta, is a calcium-dependent enzyme consisting of 818 amino acids and features a phospholipase A2c domain and a C2 domain, existing in two alternatively spliced isoforms. This enzyme plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism by hydrolyzing the sn-2-acyl ester bond in glycerophospholipids, which leads to the release of fatty acids, including arachidonic acid. Arachidonic acid is a key precursor for the synthesis of various eicosanoids, which are important mediators of inflammation and are involved in numerous physiological processes. The presence of group IVD sPLA2 in inflammatory conditions, such as psoriatic lesions, highlights its potential significance in understanding and targeting inflammatory pathways. Group IVD sPLA2 (H-6) antibody enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the functional roles of this enzyme in both normal physiology and disease states.
