    SEE ALSO...

GPR84 Antibody (1D9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GPR84 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GPR84 antibody (1D9) is available as the non-conjugated isotype antibody. GPR84, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, plays a crucial role in immune responses, particularly in activated T cells where GPR84 regulates early interleukin-4 (IL-4) gene expression, a key cytokine involved in the differentiation of T helper cells. The importance of GPR84 extends beyond immune regulation; GPR84 is also implicated in various physiological processes and pathological conditions, including inflammation and metabolic disorders. This orphan receptor is expressed in a wide range of tissues, including the brain, heart, muscle, colon, and peripheral blood leukocytes, highlighting GPR84′s potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the function of GPR84 and its interactions within the immune system can provide insights into novel treatment strategies for diseases characterized by immune dysregulation.

hello, I want to know wheather the product (sc-293447) can be stored at -20℃ ?What is the reason for this antibody can not be freezed? Thanks.

    Asked by: Ryan10
Thank you for your question. Most of our antibodies are supplied in PBS buffer with sodium azide and gelatin. Upon freezing, gelatin will cause the antibody to precipitate, which may cause it to denature, losing its viability. Recommended storage conditions are +4 °C.

Hello, I want to know why the specific antibody (sc-48221) for GPR84 has been stopped making. Could you explain the reason? Because the antibody used in some literature, I want to confirm the reality of their results. Thank you.

    Asked by: jixiang
Thank you for your question. We have discontinued all polyclonal antibodies in our portfolio and offer monoclonal antibodies exclusively now. There were no particular concerns regarding the sc-48221 antibody's quality.
