SEE ALSO...

GP78-1 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GP78-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GP78-1 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GP78 serves as a receptor for autocrine motility factor (AMF), a tumor-secreted cytokine that plays a critical role in promoting tumor cell invasion and metastasis. AMF, also known as neuroleukin, enhances tumor cell motility in vitro through interaction with GP78, which is crucial for understanding cancer progression. Notably, GP78 is distributed uniformly across membranes of normal cells but localizes to leading and trailing edges of carcinoma cells, indicating involvement in cellular dynamics during tumorigenesis. In gastric cancer, GP78 expression on cell surface correlates with pathological stage and grade of tumor invasion, highlighting potential as a biomarker for cancer progression. Furthermore, GP78 and AMF interactions may contribute to synaptic mechanisms related to learning and memory, as evidenced by increased expression of both proteins in hippocampi of rats following maze learning. GP78 functions as a RING finger-dependent ubiquitin protein ligase (E3) within endoplasmic reticulum, recruiting UBC7, an ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2), suggesting a link between metastasis and ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. In humans, alternative splicing of GP78 mRNA results in two distinct isoforms, type I membrane protein and integral membrane protein, further emphasizing complexity and significance in cellular processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-166358 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 130左右的带究竟是不是主带之一?在甲状腺癌细胞系里做WB,10%的胶,总是在75左右和130左右出现条带,75左右的比较粗,130左右的比较细,看说明上的位置都是90左右,所以不知道问题在哪
