    SEE ALSO...

GLYATL1 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects GLYATL1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GLYATL1 antibody (B-12) is available as the non-conjugated form. GLYATL1, also known as glycine N-acyltransferase-like protein 1 or GNAT, is a 302 amino acid mitochondrial acyltransferase that plays a crucial role in amino acid metabolism by transferring acyl groups to glycine′s N-terminus, facilitating various N-acylglycines formation. This enzymatic activity contributes to metabolic pathway regulation and detoxification of acyl-CoA derivatives, which can become toxic at high concentrations. GLYATL1 exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 11q12.1, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Niemann-Pick disease. GLYATL1′s ability to conjugate multiple substrates underscores its importance in cellular metabolism and highlights its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions in metabolic disorders.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515030 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen.
