GGA2 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects GGA2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GGA2 Antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GGA2 protein is a member of the Golgi-localized, gamma-adaptin ear-containing, ARF-binding protein family, which plays a crucial role in the intracellular trafficking of proteins between the trans-Golgi network and lysosomes. Specifically, GGA2 is involved in the binding of the cation-independent mannose 6-phosphate receptor (CI-MPR) through its VHS domain, which is essential for the proper targeting of lysosomal enzymes.
