    SEE ALSO...

γ-taxilin Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects gamma-taxilin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). γ-taxilin (F-4) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. Gamma-taxilin, also known as lipopolysaccharide-specific response protein 5, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in heart and skeletal muscle where gamma-taxilin is highly expressed. Gamma-taxilin is involved in regulating the nascent polypeptide-associated complex (NAC), which is essential for proper folding and processing of newly synthesized proteins. Gamma-taxilin′s interaction with the alpha subunit of NAC not only influences nuclear distribution but also suggests a broader role in transcriptional regulation, highlighting gamma-taxilin′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals. Gamma-taxilin is expressed in various tissues, including brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas, indicating gamma-taxilin′s potential involvement in diverse physiological functions across different organ systems.

What blocking solution should I use with γ-taxilin (F-4): sc-393721 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
