SEE ALSO...

Gα 11 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the G alpha 11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Gα 11 (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. G alpha 11 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling as a member of the heterotrimeric G protein family, which transmits signals from activated cell surface receptors to intracellular effectors. Specifically, G alpha 11 is involved in the activation of phospholipase C, leading to the production of inositol trisphosphate and diacylglycerol, which are vital for calcium signaling and various cellular responses. This signaling pathway is essential for numerous physiological processes, including smooth muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and cell proliferation. G alpha 11 protein is predominantly expressed in the brain and lung, where G alpha 11 contributes to the regulation of diverse functions such as cardiovascular responses and sensory perception. Understanding G alpha 11′s role in these pathways is important for elucidating G alpha 11′s involvement in various diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent antibody! highly specific! The Sc390382 G-alpha 11 antibody is another excellent mouse monoclonal antibody from SantaCruz, It recognizes human (see my blot), mouse and rat proteins. The specificity is so apparent if you look at the attached blot, the G-alpha 11 knock out cells do not give any non-specific cross reacting bands. Further, you can simultaneously use this antibody with anti-porin (Sc-390996) to quantify relative expression at the same time, saves your time. So, highly recommend this antibody.
