SEE ALSO...

G-CSF Antibody (3D1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects G-CSF protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-G-CSF antibody (3D1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) is a crucial pleiotropic cytokine that plays a significant role in the differentiation, proliferation, and activation of neutrophilic granulocytes, which are essential for the immune response. G-CSF is primarily secreted by bone marrow stromal cells and acts on hematopoietic progenitor cells to stimulate the production of neutrophils, thereby enhancing the body′s ability to fight infections. The mature G-CSF protein consists of 178 amino acids, following the cleavage of a 30 amino acid signal peptide, and interacts with G-CSF receptor (G-CSFR), a heavily glycosylated polypeptide that spans the cell membrane. This interaction triggers a cascade of intracellular signaling pathways, including the Ras/MAPK pathway, which is vital for cell survival and proliferation. G-CSF has been shown to influence the activation of various kinases and transcription factors, such as Lyn, Syk, and Stat3, underscoring its importance in immune regulation and response.
