    SEE ALSO...

Fyb Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Fyb protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Fyb antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fyb protein, also known as Fyn binding protein, plays a crucial role in T cell signaling by interacting with tyrosine kinase p59fyn and anchoring proteins such as SKAP55 and SKAP55-R. These interactions are vital for regulating signaling events initiated by lymphocyte antigen receptors, which ultimately lead to T cell activation. Fyb protein is located in the cytoplasm and is involved in assembling signaling complexes that facilitate communication between T cells and their environment. Human Fyb gene is located on chromosome 5p13.1 and encodes a 783 amino acid protein, which is essential for maintaining proper immune responses. Anti-Fyb antibody (C-8) enables researchers to gain insights into molecular mechanisms underlying T cell activation and broader implications for immune system function.

What blocking solution should I use with Fyb (C-8): sc-515372 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
