SEE ALSO...

FTS Antibody (KK-L5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FTS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FTS antibody (KK-L5) is available as the non-conjugated format. Fused toes protein homolog (FTS), also known as AKT-interacting protein (AKTIP) and Ft1, is a 292 amino acid protein primarily localized in the cytoplasm and cell membrane, crucial for cellular signaling pathways. FTS localization enables direct interaction with AKT1, a key regulator of various cellular processes including cell growth, protein synthesis, and antiapoptotic signaling. Through cytoplasmic and membrane positioning, FTS monoclonal antibody (KK-L5) can effectively modulate AKT1 activity, enhancing phosphorylation and activation. This interaction drives the AKT1/GSK-3β/NFATc1 signaling cascade, leading to increased production of proapoptotic hormone Fas ligand, promoting apoptosis in response to cellular stress. FTS (KK-L5) antibody influences apoptosis through AKT1 interaction, highlighting FTS significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to external stimuli.
